Winter Skill Training

The club will be hosting winter skills training again this year at the Hampshire Dome in Milford beginning in January. This is a great way for players to keep their foot on the ball through the winter and improve their individual skills and techniques. All players are highly encouraged to participate — even if you cannot make every session, it is still a great deal.

Why are winter skills training important for player development?

• Winter skills provide an ongoing experience for kids to get touches on the ball and stay connected to the game throughout the winter. Players who take the winter off fall behind developmentally, and often take time to “catch up” when the Spring season starts.
• Unlike outdoor, winter training focuses on foot skills, individual technique, and small-sided field awareness. It is aimed more at the individual than the team.
• Kids who attend winter skills start their spring season with confidence and excitement to get outside and get back to games.

Who are the trainers?

• Training will be done by our licensed professional coaching staff, many of which are college coaches.

Tots, EDP Non-Travel & Travel (U3-U10 – Birth Years 2015 thru 2022)

·           Tailored to the age, coaching the fundamentals of soccer using games, drills and activities to improve individual player skills and technics.

·           5:00 pm – 6:00 pm

·           Payment schedule:   $75 at time of registration

Upper Club Winter Training (U11-U14 – Birth Years 2011 thru 2014)

·           Works on individual player skills, technique, psychological aspect of the game.

·           6:00 pm – 7:30 pm

·           $325

·           Payment schedule: $105 at time of registration
$110 due on 12/01/24
$110 due on 01/01/25

Upper Club Winter Training (U15-U19 – Birth Years 2006 thru 2010)

·           Works on individual player skills, technique, psychological aspect of the game.

·           7:30 pm – 9:00 pm

·           $325

·           Payment schedule:  $105 at time of registration
